Angry!

We were doing our Embryo Transfer cycle (after having one frozen embryo from IVF) this month.  Unfortunately I had a scan today and there is another polyp in my uterus.  It has to be removed before we can do the transfer.  This means another wait of 6-8 weeks for the operation and then a wait for the beginning of the next cycle.  I am so over waiting, and so angry with the fact that my body can not behave itself.

It is only about 6 months since I had the last 2 removed.  It was a minor operation done under a general, but I ended up with a mild infection afterwards and was in major pain for 2 days.  Something I am not looking forward to repeating.

The things we go through for a child and this is even before it is born, I hate to imagine what it will be like when we actually have a child.

Another January post!

Well, here is the token January post for the year. It seems a trend, I do a post in January and then nothing for the rest of the year.

The good news was that I completed my 2011 reading challenge of 50 books in the year. I didn't get the 12 books off the 1001 books list read though although I did manage a few and are still struggling with Jane Eyre at the moment... ugh. I guess for this year, I will aim for 60 books and read some more off that 1001 books list.

A friend on FB is doing 365 photos, 1 a day. I thought that would be great too. I got a new camera over Christmas and so it would be a good chance to get to know how to use it and get some great pics.

Overall I just want to have some sort of sense of accomplishment by the end of 2012. Of what I am not sure yet...
